None Occasion Of Stumbling

Too often I seem to stumble along in my walk with the Lord.

1 John 2:10: He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him.

I would like to have none occasion of stumbling. How about you? When we reach Heaven we will have no occasions of stumbling. When I am stumbling I am probably not loving others and I am probably not walking in the light. I had never thought of loving others and walking in God*s light as God*s way to keep us from stumbling. Perhaps we can learn when we are stumbling that we are not in God*s will and seek to get into it and keep ourselves in it. When I am selfish or when I am not walking in God*s light as it is revealed in the Bible I deserve to stumble. It is wonderful to know that God makes plenty of provision to keep His children from stumbling and even when we do, He picks us up.

Psalms 37:23: The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way. 24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand.

Proverbs 24:16: For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.

Proverbs 16:9: A man*s heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps.

Joshua 1:3: Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses.

If we neglect the Bible, we are certain to stumble.

Psalms 119:130: The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.

Psalms 119:105: Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

Proverbs 6:23: For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life:

Many believe that they do not need a church full of other believers. We cannot afford to be without a Biblical church and the Biblical Christians we will find there.

Ecclesiastes 4:9: Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. 10 For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up. 11 Again, if two lie together, then they have heat: but how can one be warm alone? 12 And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.

Some believe they don*t have time for the Bible. We cannot afford not to study it.

2 Timothy 3:16: All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
